Indian Baby Food-Mung

Ingredients
  Mung 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), hulled
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Carrots 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (or any vegetable of your choice)
  Carom seeds 2 Packet
  Salt To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Rinse the mung , pour in double the amount of water and keep aside.
2. Prepare carrots by washing and scraping off the skin and dice into small pieces .

MAKING
3. In a pressure pan combine the carrots, the mung bean, salt and carom seeds. Mix everything well and cook for 2 whistle.
4. Let this cool, add a little water and using a hand blender or food processor make everything into a smooth paste, take care not to leave any lumps as babies can easily choke.

SERVING
5. Serve mung with yogurt to your kids.
