Easy Coconut Burfi
|Coconut powder||4 Cup (64 tbs), dry and shredded|
|Sweetened condensed milk||14 Ounce (1 can)|
|Cardamom powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Ghee||1⁄2 Teaspoon (For greasing)|
1 Lightly smear the bottom of a flat baking sheet with butter or ghee.
2 In a non-stick pan, on medium heat, roast coconut until you get a nice aroma, without browning.
3 Gradually add in sweetened condensed milk and cardamom.
4 Mix well and continue to cook, stirring until the ingredients clump together (approximately 2 to 3 minutes).
5 Remove from the heat and pour coconut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
6 Refrigerate for about an hour.
7 Remove from the refrigerator and cut into squares or diamond shapes.
8 Serve as desired
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
