Manga Thenga Chutney
Manga thenga chutney or coconut raw mango chutney is a very typical side dish served with any bread, kanji or rice. This chutney is generally made during the summers when mango comes in abudance.
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Raw mango||2 Teaspoon, peeled and chopped into small pieces|
|Ginger||1⁄4 Cubic Centimeter, cubed|
|Green chilies||4 Medium, sliced|
|Shallots||4 Medium, finely sliced|
|Curry leaves||2 Teaspoon|
1. In a mixer, add all ingredients and grind coarsely.
2. Roll into balls and serve with hot steaming rice or kanji.
