Garam Masala Spice Mix

An authentic Indian flavorful spice which can be made and stored for later use.
  Black peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 2 Teaspoon
  Coriander seed 2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick/Cassia bark 1
  Green cardamom seeds 1 Teaspoon (extracted from the cardamom pods)

1. In a spice grinder or coffee grinder add all the spices.
2. Grind until powdered.

3. Use as desired in your curries, or sprinkle on your raita or pilaf for that extra kick of flavor.
