Make your summer time enjoyable with this delicious Ice Cream
Regular milk | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
Heavy cream | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Half and half milk | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Cardamom powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Crushed ice | 1 Kilogram | |
Rock salt | 1 Kilogram | |
Vanilla icecream mix | 8 Ounce | |
Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Cashew | 3 Cup (48 tbs) | |
Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
MAKING
1. In a saucepan mix milk, vanilla ice cream mix and 1 cup of sugar on low heat till bubbles form on the edges.
2. Add the cashews and raisins and mix well.
3. Let it cool for 2 hours and place in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour to make it cool.
4. Pour into the ice cream maker container through a sieve to filter cashews and raisins.
5. Add half and half, heavy cream, vanilla extract and cardamom powder and mix well.
6. Cover the container, place in the ice-cream maker and turn it on.(Run the ice cream maker as per manufacturer’s instructions)
7. Add the rock salt and the ice around the container in the ice cream maker till the top.
8. When the ice cream is almost done add the collected cashews and raisins and mix.
9. Turn on the ice-cream maker and run for about 20 minutes.
10. Place the ice-cream in the freezer for about 7-8 hours.
SERVING
11. Remove using an ice-cream scoop and serve.
