Instant Amrakhand (Mango Shrikhand)

Quick and easy way of making shrikhand.
Ingredients
  Ripe mangoes 2 Medium, peeled, cut into small cubes (Alphonso Mangoes used)
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce, cut into cubes (One 8 oz pack at room temperature used)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Adjust as per your taste)
  Saffron 1 Pinch (A couple of strands)
  Milk 1 Tablespoon (To dissolve the saffron strands)
For the seasoning
  Cardamom powder To Taste
  Nutmeg powder 1 Dash (Optional)
For the garnishing
  Slivered almonds 2 Tablespoon (As needed)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a small microwave safe bowl, take a little milk with a few saffron strands in it. Place in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Set this aside.

MAKING
2. In a blender, add the ripe mango pieces, cream cheese, sugar and the saffron dissolved milk. Blend to make a smooth puree.
3. Season with cardamom powder and nutmeg powder (if using).
4. Garnish with slivered almonds, if desired.

SERVING
5. Serve with hot puris.
