Tandoori Chicken Using Basting Sauce

Ingredients
  Roasting chicken 3 Pound (1 no.)
  Small onion 1
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Ginger root 1⁄2 Inch, peeled and chopped
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander 1 Teaspoon
  Chilli powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Yogurt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , juiced
  Tandoori basting sauce 2 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Start by piercing the chicken with a fork

MAKING
2. In a blender, blend the next three ingredeints together and add seasoning and mix properly
3. In a small bowl, beat the yogurt till it turns smooth, also blend in spice paste and lemon juice
4. Take the chicken and rub the mixture into it, chill the chicken in the refrigerator to marinate it. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight
5. Finally grill the chicken

SERVING
6. Serve with grilled stiffed tomatoes and a rice pilaf or with indian breads ( roti, nan)
