This is one of the easiest curry to make! Whenever I run out of vegetables or time I love to cook this simple Aloo Matar curry. Tastes delicious with rice, roti or chapati!
1 Large, chopped finely
1 Medium, chopped
2 Medium, cubed
1 Pinch (Hing)
Ginger garlic paste
1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Red chili powder
Peel and chop potatoes in small cubes.
Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pinch of hing and onions. Saute till onions become translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell from ginger garlic goes away.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and cook for 2 mts.
Add potatoes, mix, add water, cover and cook for 15 mts.
After 15 mts add tomatoes, cover and cook for 10 mts.
Add Green Peas and garam masala, mix, cover and cook for 5 mts.
Garnish with corriandar leaves.
