Potato Raita

A cool, colorful and delicate raita, perfect for Indian meals.
Ingredients
  Potato 1 Large
  Curds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon (or more)
  Green chilly 1 Teaspoon, finely chopped
  Coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Jeera 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Hing 1 Pinch
  Boondi/Sev 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (for garnishing)
Directions

1. Boil potatoes. Let cool and cut into 1 cm. cubes.
2. In a bowl, beat curds with sugar till smooth.
3. Mix curd with the potato cubes. Add finely chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.
4. Add a pinch of salt.
5. Make a tempering with hing and jeera seeds.
6. Add to raita and mix well.
7. Serve cold, garnished with boondi or sev.

I'm little confused, do we need to add sugar and salt or just sugar or just salt? pls suggest

Add just a dash of salt. It will be fine.
