Indian Chicken Stew
|Finely chopped onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Special oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Curry powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Fryer chicken||3 1⁄2 Pound, disjointed|
|Chicken broth||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|White onions||4 Small|
|Sliced toasted almonds||2 Tablespoon|
1 In a skillet, heat the oil and saute chopped onions for 5 minutes.
2 Add in the garlic, curry powder and salt.
3 Mix the chicken and let brown.
4 Stir in the broth, whole onions.
5 Cook covered over low heat until tender, about 45 minutes.
6 Sprinkle with the almonds and serve.
