|Chicken||1 Kilogram, jointed|
|Finely sliced onion||1 Large|
|Beaten yogurt||1 Cup (16 tbs), mixed with 1/2 cup milk|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground poppy seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground blanched almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Powdered saffron||1⁄4 Teaspoon, heated|
|Whole green chilies||4|
In hot ghee, fry chicken pieces till brown, remove.
In same ghee, fry onions golden.
Add in yoghurt, almonds, poppy seeds, salt and chillies when mixture boils, add chicken pieces and simmer till chicken is done and a thick gravy formed.
