Bhuna Masala Chana

Ingredients
  Brown dry chana 1⁄4 Kilogram, soaked overnight and boiled with salt
  Salt To Taste
For roasted ground masala
  Garlic 10 Gram
  Grated coconut 1⁄2
  Red chilies 5
  Sliced onion 1 Medium
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Thick tamarind water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Coriander 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Aniseeds 1 Teaspoon
  Green chilies 2
Directions

Heat oil, fry masala well, add channa with its water, simmer for 10 mins.
Add tamarind pulp and remove from fire after simmering for 5 mins.
Dry water completely.
Serve with purees.
