|Finely grated coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Saffron essence||3 Drop (A Few Drops)|
|Powdered cardamom||1 Tablespoon|
Pound together all the nuts coarsely.
Put the rest of the ingredients together in a pan and cook stirring all the time till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
Mix in the essence and remove from fire, put in a greased thali, level the surface and sprinkle nuts on the top.
Cool thoroughly, cut into small squares and store in airtight container.
