|Chicken||1 , cut into pieces|
|Fresh curds||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Potato||6 , halved|
|Onions||2 Large, sliced fine browned and pounded|
|Saffron||1⁄2 Teaspoon, mixed with 2 tbs. milk|
Cover chicken pieces with ground masala and place in a bowl or pan.
Beat curds and maida and mix salt, haldi, roasted masala, saffron and browned onions in it.
Marinate chicken pieces in this for 2 hours.
Heat ghee and fry potato halves.
Lessen ghee, add chicken pieces and its marinade and cook for a few minutes.
Add potatoes, cover pan and cook on a slow fire.
From time to time shake pan sideways without opening it.
Cook for about 30-40 mins until chicken is tender.
Garnish with chopped hardboiled eggs and serve with hot parathas or nan.
