Rasam Pecan Pie

What better way to enjoy a cool autumn day than with a nice piece of pecan pie. This pie is so wonderful tasting, just make sure to refrigerate it for at least 5 hours before serving. If you don't say anything, your guests will think that is is a regular pie. The taste is so delicious and crunchy.
  Raw walnuts 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Medjool dates 3 Cup (48 tbs), pitted
  Organic coconut flakes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Filtered water 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Raw pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs), soaked 15 minutes
  Organic raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Thomson)
  Organic vanilla extract 1 Tablespoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Pure maple syrup 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sea salt 1 Teaspoon

Directions for crust;

1.Pit the dates. Add the dates, coconut flakes and walnuts to a food processor and mix on high until combined.

2.Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie plate. Set aside.

Directions for filling;

1.Using a blender or food processor, combine all filling ingredients together until smooth.

2.Pour into crust and garnish with fresh, raw pecans.

3.Set in freezer overnight, or for at least 5 hours in refrigerator before serving.
