Chili Paneer Or Chilli Tofu - Indo Chinese

Use Tofu in place of Paneer to make Chili tofu !
Ingredients
For the sauce
  Minced garlic 1 Tablespoon
  Minced ginger 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Sweet and sour sauce 3 Tablespoon (Optional)
  Plum sauce 2 Teaspoon (Optional)
  Chili sauce 2 Teaspoon
For the chili paneer
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Red bell pepper 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Green bell pepper 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Paneer 150 Gram, cut into squares
  White vinegar 1 Teaspoon (Optional)
  Water 2 Tablespoon (Optional)
  Light corn syrup/Corn starch 2 Tablespoon (If using corn starch, dissolve in water and add)
  Salt To Taste (Optional)
  Green onions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped finely (Use as required to garnish)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, add minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce (optional), plum sauce (optional) and chili sauce. Mix well to combine. Set this aside.

MAKING
2. Heat up a pan with a couple of tablespoons of oil.
3. Add the chopped onions, red and green bell peppers and the paneer chunks.
4. Add vinegar and stir on a high heat. Do not overcook the vegetables.
5. Add the prepared sauce and a little water (for gravy). Stir in the light corn syrup and salt (if required).
6. Cook for a couple of minutes and turn off the heat.

SERVING
7. Serve garnished with finely chopped green onions or cilantro or fresh chives.
