Lentil Corn Pilaf

Ingredients
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Dried lentils 8 Ounce, sorted, rinsed (1 Cup)
  Chopped red bell pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Frozen whole kernel corn/Canned drained whole kernel corn 1 Cup (16 tbs), thawed
  Chopped fresh cilantro/Chopped fresh parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1 In a 2-quart saucepan boil water. Stir in lentils and bell pepper.
2 Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until lentils are tender.Drain if necessary.
3 Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes,stirring occasionally until corn is tender and hot.

SERVING
4 Serve hot.
