1 Wash the rice several times so that it is cleaned thoroughly.
2 In a bowl, soak the rice in clean water for atleast 15 minutes.
3 In a pan, add 2 cups of water along with the salt and oil.
4 Add in the soaked rice and allow it to come to a boiling point.
5 Lower the heat once the rice reaches the boiling point and cover the pan.
6 Do not stir the rice, else they will turn mushy.
7 Check the rice after about 10-15 to see if it is done.
8 Serve the rice along with your favorite dal or curry.
