Sweet Tomato Pickles

Ingredients
  Green tomatoes 9 (1/2 Peck)
  Onions 4
  Green peppers 4
  Salt 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  White mustard seed 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pepper 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 3 Teaspoon
  Allspice 3 Teaspoon
  Cloves 3 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 2 Quart
  Brown sugar 1 Pound
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Chop onions, tomatoes and peppers finely.
2. Mix them, cover with salt and allow them to stand overnight.
3. Drain the mixture.

MAKING
4. Add to this mixture vinegar, spices and salt which have already been heated to boiling.
5. Cook it for about 15 minutes.
6. Seal in sterilized jars.

SERVING
7. Serve the pickles whenever required.
