Okra and Tomatoes
|Okra||4 Cup (64 tbs), chopped|
|Tomatoes||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Onion||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Rotel||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Louisiana hot sauce||4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), chopped|
|Bacon||1⁄2 Pound, diced|
|Parsley flakes||2 Tablespoon|
|Bitters||6 Drop (Peychaud'S)|
Fry the okra to get slime out.
If you don't know what I mean by this, get some fresh okra, slice it, and put it in a frying pan—it got slime and it need to be deslimified.
Add tomatoes, Ro-tel, and fried bacon and seasonings to bacon drippings and deslimed okra.
Cook slowly until onions are done, stirring frequently.
