Euryale ferox or for nuts or 'Makhana' as they are called in India, is an organic herbal food with protein as high as 14.52%!
1⁄2 Teaspoon (Clarified Butter) (Optional)
2 Cup (32 tbs) (As needed)
Ground black pepper
1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with 1/2 tsp of ghee (clarified butter). Add the makhana and roast until lightly golden brown and crispy.
2. Once done, remove on to a serving plate and season with black pepper and salt. Toss well to mix.
3. Serve as a snack at any time during the day.
