Easy Red Beans And Rice
|Spicy smoked sausage||1 Pound, cut into 1/2-inch slices|
|Canned red beans||30 Ounce, drained (2 Cans Of 15 Ounce Each)|
|Bell pepper||1 , chopped (Green / Yellow)|
|Jalapeno||1 , seeded and finely chopped|
|Canned diced tomatoes with juice||15 Ounce, peeled (1 Can)|
|Red onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Uncooked)|
1.Take a heavy saucepan and cook sugar, salt, water and vinegar in it on medium flame.
2.Stir the ingredients continuously to form a smooth mixture.
3.Stop stirring for a while so that the sugar syrup forms into a 4-6 inch thread.
4.In a bowl, whisk egg whites until light and fluffy.
5.Add sugar syrup mixture to the eggs and keep whisking so that a thick and foamy mixture is formed.
6.Use the frosting as cake topping.
