|Chana flour||3 Tablespoon|
|White flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped spring onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cottage cheese||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped tomato||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ginger piece||1 Small|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix the flours with the seasonings and mix to a pouring batter (not too thin) with cold water.
Add the chopped vegetables and lastly the baking powder just before frying.
If using cottage cheese, stir it in with the water.
Heat 11/2 tblspns, oil in a 6" pan till smoking hot.
Pour the mixture in, spreading evenly.
Fry both sides brown on a lowered heat.
Serve on toast with tomato sauce.
