Pistachio Topped Kheer
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Long rice grain||1 Tablespoon|
|Whole cardamom pods||4 , slightly crushed|
|Pistachios||10 , unsalted and slivered (Plus Few More For Garnishing)|
Combine the milk, rice, and cardamom pods in a heavy-bottomed pot.
Bring to boil.
Lower heat and reduce milk until you have 2 cups.
This may take about 1 1/4 hours.
Turn off heat.
Remove cardamom pods and discard.
Add sugar and nuts.
Leave to cool.
Pour into serving bowl.
Sprinkle a few more slivered pistachios on top.
Coyer bowl with light plastic wrap.
