Tomato Spicy Curry (Thakkali kulambu)

Tomato spicy curry is a hot, spicy, tasty dish. Try and enjoy!!
  Ripe tomatoes 4
  Garlic 8
  Ginger 1 Inch
  Onion 3
  Green chilly 3 , slit lengthwise
  Coconut paste 3 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Red chili powder 5 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 4 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 2 Teaspoon
  Tamarind paste 2 Teaspoon
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Methi seeds/Fenugreek seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Fennel seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Gingelly oil 5 Teaspoon

1. Heat oil in kadai, add methi, fennel seeds, cumin, mustard seeds and saute till they splatter.
2. Add the Onion, green chilly, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and saute for 2mins.
3. Add the tomatoes and saute till they are well cooked to mash.
4. Now add the turmeric, red chilly powder, coriander, garam masala powder, salt and saute for 3mins till all the masalas are well cooked and releases oil in the sides.
5. Add water as needed, adjust the salt and boil for 10 mins till the required curry consistency.
6. Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot rice.
