Red Beans and Rice
|Spicy smoked sausage||1 Pound, cut into 1/2-inch slices|
|Canned red beans||30 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 15 Ounce Each, Small Sized)|
|Green bell pepper/Yellow bell pepper||1 , chopped|
|Jalapeno chili||1 , seeded and finely chopped|
|Canned tomatoes and juice||15 Ounce, peeled and diced|
|Red onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Uncooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Use a slow cooker.
2. Put sausage, beans, bell pepper, jalapefio chilies, onions and tomatoes.
3. Put the lid of the cooker.
4. Cook the ingredients for 5-6 hrs. on LOW.
5. Take a pan and cook rice in it following the instructions given on the pack.
6.Serve the rice topped with the bean mixture.
