Drumstick Leaves Saute Fry (Murungai Keerai Poriyal)

Drumstick leaves saute fry is a very easy and healthy dish. Just try and enjoy!!
Ingredients
  Drumstick leaves 2 Cup (32 tbs) (green and tender)
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Urad dal 1 Teaspoon
  Red chilly 2
  Asafoetida 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coconut 3 Teaspoon, grated
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For frying)
Directions

1. Wash well, drain the drumstick leaves and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in kadai, add the mustard seeds, urad dal,asefeotida and let it splatter.
3. Now add the red chilly, leaves, turmeric powder, salt and saute for 3mins.
4. Sprinkle little water, cover and cook for 5-8mins.
5. After the excess water evaporates, add the grated coconut and saute for 2mins.
6. Now the tasty drumstick leaves saute is ready.

Wish we could get drumstick leaes here. On rare times I can find drumstick at the farmer's market, but $1 each! Shanti/Mary-Anne

Oh !! Yes, here in singapore too, sometimes only i'm getting drumstick leaves. But i love them more. That's y, whenever i buy, i'll make one or more varieties using it and will enjoy!

In london... Its very very rare to get Drumstick leaves.. oh gosh.. i remember how many million drumstick plants are in india.. and its very very expensive.. about 250 gms weigh leaves is £2.50
