Snake Gourd Sauté Fry

Snake gourd saute fry is a plain, simple, very easy dish to relish with any kind of rice. Quickly cook and enjoy!!!
Ingredients
  Snakeguard 1 Cup (16 tbs), chop in to thin 1inch pieces (pudalangai)
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Green chilly 2 , slit lengthwise
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Urad dal 2 Teaspoon
  Chana dal 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Grated coconut 3 Teaspoon (powdered bengal gram)
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For frying)
Directions

1. Heat oil in kadai, add the mustard,urad dal,chana dal saute till the mustard splatter and dal turns light brown.
2. Add the onions, green chilly, curry leaves and saute till transparent.
3. Add the chopped snake gourd, turmeric powder, salt and saute by adding oil little by little for 10 mins.
4. Saute till the it shrinks and turns slightly crispy.
5. Finally sprinkle the grated coconut and saute for a min and its done.
Serve with any kind of rice.
