Ingredients
  Chana dal flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Chili powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oil 4 Teaspoon
  Mustard seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch
  Onion 1⁄2
Directions

mix all the ingredients and make a thick paste. heat oil splutter mustard seeds,curry leaves onion(optional) asafoetida add it to the paste.go on frying until it turns to powder consistency on a low flame.
