Muruku ( Snack) Making Made Easier

Muruku is a very tasty and popular snack and is made for festivals like janmashtami and divali ..it is also very easy to make and can be stored for over a week
Ingredients
  Rice flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Urad dal powder 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  White butter 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Hing 1 Pinch
  Sesame seed 1 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooking oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a mixing bowl, place rice flour, urad dal, butter, salt, hing and sesame seeds. Add enough water to knead to a thick dough.
2. In an extruder, stuff the dough, extrude in a spiral motion on a plastic sheet.
3. In an medium wok, heat oil, fry the muruku till golden brown.

SERVING
4. Serve as a snack with tea or coffee.
