Philip's Goa Curry
|Pomfret||1 Kilogram, filleted and marinated in salt and lime juice|
|Onions||2 Large, ground|
|Lime juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Coconut milk||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Extracted From 1 1/2 Coconuts)|
|Tamarind||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, soaked in 1 cup hot water|
|For grinding together|
|Red chilies||25 (Goan / Kashmiri)|
|Garlic||14 Clove (70 gm)|
|Cumin seeds||2 Teaspoon|
Put onions, ground spices, coconut milk and strained tamarind juice in a pan.
Mix well and bring to boil.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
The consistency should be that of thick milk.
Strain and add fish.
Simmer till fish is cooked.
Cool completely and reheat gently before serving.
