Prawn Pulao

Ingredients
  Prawns 500 Gram
  Tomatoes 115 Gram
  Curds 55 Gram
  Onions 100 Gram
  Coriander powder 10 Gram
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Garam masala 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Fat 50 Gram
  Coriander sprigs 3 (a few)
For rice
  Rice 400 Gram
  Cloves 2 Gram
  Cinnamon 2 Gram
  Cardamom 2 Gram
Directions

1. Shell prawns. Remove intestines and wash well.
2. Heat fat, fry sliced onions until golden brown.
3. Add cumin and finely chopped tomatoes.
4. Fry well. Add cleaned prawns and the rest of the spices, except the garam masala. Add salt.
5. Fry for another 10 minutes adding small amounts of curds at a time.
6. Add water (small quantity) and simmer till prawns are tender and a thick gravy remains.
7. Sprinkle with garam masala and finely chopped coriander leaves.
Rice
1. Prepare rice as for fried rice.
2. Put rice and prawn curry in layers.
3. Cover and seal the lid. Keep in the oven for about 30 minutes.
4. Serve hot.
