|Basmati rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onions||2 Large, finely chopped|
|Minced garlic||2 Teaspoon|
|Minced ginger||2 Teaspoon|
|Tomato puree||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Wash rice, drain.
2. Heat oil in heavy based medium sauce pan, saute onion till transparent. Add garlic, ginger, saute till golden brown.
3. Add rice. Stir for lmin.
4. Add tomato puree, salt and 1 cup water. Bring to boil.
5. Cover, cook on low for 15-18mins.Rice should be cooked by this time. Serve hot.
