Ingredients
  Gooseberries 1⁄4 Kilogram
  Green chilies 12
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Dash (Or Use 1 Small Asafeotida Cake)
  Sesame seed oil 2 Tablespoon (Til)
  Mustard seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Remove the salted gooseberries from the jar. Press each berry lightly to remove the seed, break into slices, and set aside.
2. Mix all the other ingredients except the oil and mustard, grind roughly, and set aside.
3. Heat the oil, add the mustard, and when done, add the ground masala, and stir 1-2 minutes. Add the gooseberry slices, fry for another 1-2 minutes, remove from fire, cool and bottle.
