Taaja Kooto Athwa Ambar No Patio
|Fresh shrimps||500 Gram (Small Size)|
|Turmeric powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||2 Tablespoon, dry roasted and coarsely pounded|
|Vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Navsari Type)|
|Sesame seed oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Onions||4 Large, chopped|
|Green chilies||10 , seeded and chopped|
|Coriander leaves||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Ginger piece||1 Inch, chopped|
|Garlic||8 Clove (40 gm), chopped|
Wash shrimps well and remove all other small fish that may be mixed with it.
Drain and dry.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till brown.
Add ginger, garlic, turmeric and chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander and green chillies.
Saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add shrimps and fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes.
Add vinegar, salt and sugar.
Simmer for 4-6 minutes till liquid is almost dried.
Serve hot with rotli or hot toast.
This dish can be served at room temperature.
