Ingredients
  Toor dal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green chilies 3
  Chopped ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes 2 , pureed
  Chopped spinach 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Oil/Butter 2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Pressure cook dal with salt and turmeric powder. Whisk until creamy.
Add ginger, green chillies, tomato puree and spinach. Cook until spinach becomes soft and everything blends together.
Heat oil/butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds. when they splutter add garlic and combine. Add coriander powder and garam masala powder and combine. Pour it over the cooked lentils and spinach. Mix well.
Serve hot with rice or rotis.
