|Toor dal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green chilies||10 , chopped or ground (Or Even More According To Taste)|
|Chopped onion||1 Medium|
|Ground coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Grounded Freshly, A Little More)|
|Chopped cilantro||7 Tablespoon (Coriander, Or More If You Like It)|
soak dal for a couple of hours or until soft. grind coarsely,with minimum water. to this mixture add rest of the ingredients & mix well (preferably use your hand).Now take a little mixture make it into oval or oblong shape.Do the same with remaining ingredients and steam in pressure cooker for approximately 7-8 min.
Usually greased idli plates are used for steaming. Allow cooker to stand for 8-10 min .Serve with melted ghee or punjabi kadi
