Akki Roti or Rice Roti
|Rice flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coriander||1 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Grated carrot||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated coconut||2 Teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Hot water||50 Milliliter (to knead)|
1.In a bowl add Rice flour, Salt, Chopped Coriander Leaves, Grated Coconut, Grated Carrot and Cumin Seed.Mix them well.
2. Slowly add Hot water to knead the dough.It must be like Chappati dough.
3. Apply little oil knead it for a while and Keep it aside.
4. Heat Pan. Dip your hand in water and take a small ball of and dough
spread in a pan like Chappati. Sprinkle some water on Roti, close with lid and cook.
5. Turn the other side apply some oil and cook for few minutes.
This Recipes i Learnt from my mom,she is expert in doing roti with in a second.we are from Hassan ,My mom will prepare another type of roti by adding cooked rice and rice flour,it is also good to eat.now roti machine is also available.I love this recipe lot.Everybody enjoyed eating this for breakfast.
