Ingredients
  Pressed rice 225 Gram
  Potatoes 225 Gram
  Onions 200 Gram
  Coriander leaves 1⁄8 Bunch (12.5 gm)
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch
  Turmeric 1 Teaspoon
  Fat 45 Gram
  Salt To Taste
  Grated coconut 30 Gram
  Coriander leaves 4 , chopped
Directions

1. Peel and dice potatoes.
2. Chop onions and coriander leaves finely.
3. Heat fat. Brown onions. Add remaining ingredients except rice.
4. Cook on a slow fire till potatoes are cooked (add a little water if necessary).
5. Put rice into a colander. Hold under a running tap or pour water over for about half a minute. Let it drain.
6. Add rice to potatoes. Cook for another 10 minutes.
7. Serve garnished with grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
