The delicious Indian dessert of the Moong dal halwa made easy for you. This popular dessert is lentil paste cooked with sugar and milk. The perfect recipe to a great dessert, just right for the special party you were planning for the weekend.
Ingredients
  Moong dal 500 Gram, soaked and paste
  Ghee 250 Gram
  Sugar 350 Gram
  Milk 250 Milliliter
  Powdered green cardamom 5 Gram
  Cashewnut 75 Gram (Whole)
  Raisins 50 Gram
  Khoya 100 Gram
Directions

1. Soak the moong daal and make a fine paste in a grinder.
2. Heat the ghee in a wok and fry the paste till the ghee is released.
3. Add the sugar and the milk and the green cardamom, fried whole cashewnuts raisins and the grated khoya.
4. Serve hot.
