Mango and Cumin Lassi
|Cumin seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Natural yogurt||1⁄2 Pint (300 Milliliter)|
|Clear honey||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cracked ice||1 Tablespoon (To Serve)|
1. Heat a small frying pan, add the cumin seeds and toast until they release their aroma. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool.
2. Cut the mango into two either side of the stone. Slash the flesh in a criss-cross pattern. Remove the diced flesh from the skin and put it into a food processor or blender. Cut any remaining mango flesh from around the stone and add to the food processor. Blend with the cumin seeds to a smooth puree.
3. Add the yogurt and honey to the blender with 300 ml (1/2 pint) iced water and blend until smooth.
4. Pour the lassi over cracked ice in tall tumblers and serve immediately.
