Make Your Own Curry Powder

Ingredients
  Coriander seed 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Turmeric 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), ground
  Cinnamon stick 4 Inch, broken
  Cumin seed 1 Tablespoon
  Cardamom seed 1 Teaspoon
  Black peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Whole cloves 5
  Bay leaves 2
Directions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
In a shallow baking pan combine coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, cumin seed, cardamom, peppercorns, ginger, cloves and bay leaves.
Bake for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Into a blender container place the spice mixture.
Process until finely ground.
Into small jars divide mixture into 1/2 cup portions; seal tightly.
