Baked Rice Pudding With Raisins

Ingredients
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  White rice 3 Tablespoon, washed (raw)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Granulated sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine the milk and rice in the top of a double boiler, and cook over simmering, not boiling water, for 2 hrs stirring occasionally.
Then add remaining ingredients, turn into a greased or oiled 1 1/2 qt casserole, and bake in a moderate oven of 350°F for 45 min.
Insert the spoon near the edge of the casserole, and stir rice 2 or 3 times during baking, without disturbing brown skin.
Serve warm or cold.
