I got this recipe from 'Punjabi subzis' by Tarla Dalal and it came out really good. Makes a nice combination with any Indian bread. The only thing which I did is I used 3 tbsp oil instead of 6 and I made it without using any cream, just to cut down a few calories.

It all got burnt up.The timings were not good at all

She hasn't given any particular timing here Sarojini. There are things that cannot always depend of fixed time, you must have left it a lil too long, even after the oil got separated. It is always better to start with ihight heat and then after a few minutes to bring it down to sim so that you can avoid spoiling the dish. Try it that way next time. I have tried this recipe myself several times and never has it got burnt. :)

Hi sarita !! its been a are you ?? :) I often make paneer at home and instead of the kadhai mix i guess I'll use this next... though i never fry my paneer cubes, it becomes too tough for my taste. however will it not absorb the flavors if they are not fried after marinating?? let me know :) thanks!
