Khoya/Mawa (reduced milk) is originally/traditionally/commonly used to make Gulab Jamuns. Why is it being substituted with Bisquick (pancake mix made with enriched wheat flour) and Carnation powder !?!

Thanks Snigdha, As per your choice you can use khoya/mawa . It is true that khoya is the original and traditional ingredient of Gulab jamun.

Can we use Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese instead of Khoya in preparing the gulab jamun.
