If you like Bihar you will love this Balushahi recipe. This recipe is just the way it is prepared in Bihari homes. It is an unique and traditional dessert. It is extensively used during rakshabandhan and diwali. Try this balushahi recipe and enjoy.
Ingredients
  Maida 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Soda 1 Teaspoon (Bicarbonate)
  Pistachios 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ghee 2 Tablespoon (For Frying)
Directions

Point1-Mix maida and soda.
Point2-Add ghee and prepare stiff dough.
Point3-Roll out small balls form this dough.
Point4-Heat ghee and fry these balls till it turns brown.
Point5-Prepare sugar syrup of two thread consistency.
Point6-Dip fried balls in sugar syrup.
Point7-Drain the excess syrup.
Point8-Adorn with pistachios.
Balushahi is ready.
