|Basmati rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Soak rice in water for about 1/2 hour.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add the bay leaves.
3. Add 4 cups of water, cumin seeds and salt to taste. Bring it to a boil.
4. Add rice by draining water. Bring it to a boil.
5. Lower the heat. Cover and cook till all the water evaporates. (Stirring occasionally)
6. Serve hot with any curry.
