Chikoo Ka Khoyewala Halwa
|Chikoo||12 , peeled and finely chopped|
|Unsweetened khoya||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Burnt Milk)|
|Cardamom powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Almonds||1 Tablespoon, finely sliced|
Put sugar and chikoos in a pan and cook slowly, adding ghee a little at a time.
Mince the khoya and add when the chikoos are soft.
Cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Add cardamom powder and pat onto a greased plate.
Cool and decorate with almond slices.
Cut into squares and serve at room temperature.
