Ingredients
  Sweetened khoya 2 Cup (32 tbs) (burnt milk)
  Cardamom powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Black gram 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), soaked in water for 3 hours (urad dal)
  Raisins 2 Tablespoon
  Ghee 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (for frying)
Directions

Drain and grind the dal to a fairly dry paste.
Add raisins to the khoya.
Make 18 balls of the khoya.
Cover each khoya ball with dal batter and fry in hot ghee.
Reserve.
Make a syrup with sugar and 1/2 cup water till a one-thread consistency is obtained.
Dip each khoya ball into the syrup flavoured with cardamom powder.
Serve hot.
