Malabar Cheese And Bread Bake

Ingredients
  Bread slices 8 , crust removed
  Cheese 225 Gram, thinly sliced
  Milk 180 Milliliter (1 cup)
  Butter/Margarine 50 Gram
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chilli powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tomato sauce 8 Tablespoon
  Nutmeg 1 Dash
  Green chillies 2 , deseeded, chopped
  Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Grease well a baking dish and place 4 slices of bread on it. Cover with cheese slices.
2. Mix well in a bowl/ tomato sauce, salt, pepper, mustard, chilli powder and nutmeg.
3. Pour half the sauce mixture over the bread slices spread well, sprinkle 1/3 chopped onion, coriander and green chillies.
4. Cover with the remaining bread slices.
5. Repeat the process again.
6. Mix together beaten eggs and milk and pour over the bread slices. Dot with butter or margarine, sprinkle remaining chopped onion, chilli and coriander.
7. Bake in moderate oven 190°C-375°F-gas mark-4 for 30 minutes.
8. Serve hot.
